LHZ-TIR Adds 300 Kazakhstan-Licensed Car Carrier Trucks for Dedicated China-Iran Finished Vehicle TIR Transport
LHZ-TIR announced the addition of 300 new car carrier trucks, all with Kazakhstan local licenses, dedicated exclusively to China-Iran finished vehicle TIR transport. This brings LHZ-TIR total self-owned and contracted TIR fleet to over 1,500 vehicles, distributed across six nodes: China, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Russia, Belarus, and Germany, all with local licenses. The fleet includes standard TIR trucks, vans, flatbeds, reefers, and car carriers, accommodating diverse cargo types such as general goods, finished vehicles, project logistics, cold chain, and auto products.
China-Iran finished vehicle exports have grown steadily. Bilateral trade between China and Iran exceeded 30 billion USD in 2025, with automobiles and parts accounting for a significant share. The 300 new Kazakhstan-licensed car carriers will operate exclusively on the China-Iran finished vehicle route, ensuring stable capacity, reliable transit times, and specialized service.
Each car carrier is custom-designed to load 8 units of passenger vehicles (sedans, SUVs, MPVs), commercial vehicles (light trucks, medium trucks), or new energy vehicles (EVs, hybrids), equipped with professional securing systems and protective features for long-distance cross-border transport.
LHZ-TIR leverages its 1,500 multi-type vehicles across six nodes and 100,000 sqm self-owned bonded warehouses in Alashankou, Khorgos, and Kashgar, Xinjiang, to provide end-to-end capacity for Iran finished vehicle operations. The 300 new Kazakhstan-licensed car carriers can be flexibly redeployed across the six nodes to ensure sufficient capacity on both main and alternative China-Iran routes.
Main Route (Central Asia-Iran Corridor): China (Khorgos/Alashankou) – Kazakhstan – Uzbekistan – Turkmenistan – Iran, 10-12 days
Alternative Route 1 (Caspian Sea Route): China (Khorgos/Alashankou) – Kazakhstan – Caspian Sea ferry – Caucasus – Turkey – Iran, 12-15 days
Alternative Route 2 (avoiding Kazakhstan): China (Kashgar) – Kyrgyzstan – Uzbekistan – Turkmenistan – Iran, 12-14 days
Full-service finished vehicle transport includes: domestic consolidation (nationwide pickup to bonded warehouses in Alashankou, Khorgos, Kashgar), export customs clearance, TIR transport (Kazakhstan-licensed car carriers direct to Iran), import customs clearance (Iran import clearance included), and last-mile distribution (to Tehran, Mashhad, Tabriz, Bandar Abbas, and all of Iran).
